About Us
Hi, It's Mario
Growing up in Greece, I always equated good food with the rich flavors and the food culture of my homeland. Anyone that has been there, knows the scene! Souvlaki, the delicious skewered meats, spiced with lemon and oregano, grilled in every other corner shop, is a daily staple for locals as well as millions of tourists.
After coming to the U.S when I was 18 and graduating from Brown, with a degree in Applied Mathematics AND ECONOMICS, like many, I took up a corporate job in New York City, but coming from an entrepreneurial family, I felt that something was missing. I made the bold decision to leave my job and with my dad’s help, and Agamemnon, (you can call him Steve) a seasoned veteran restaurateur, I decided to venture into the food business. There was no question in my mind as to where to start, the city and state that feels like ‘Home’ to me in the U.S - Providence, Rhode Island.
This is not just another Quick Service eatery. My mission is to offer you the most delicious and authentic Greek food you’ve ever tasted, just like it is back at home!
